It is an interesting topic as the retired Deaf Advocate spent more than 40 years behind the scenes and up front on many issues affecting the Deaf community. He was raised oralist until he discovered American Sign Language. The second one is "The Tools of Audism." It is a gut wrenching story about how many deaf children had suffered under audism.

This 30 minutes documentary is about what audists used as tools of audism to intimidate deaf children and adults in the 19th and 20th century. It might be happening in the 21st century.
It stresses on the need of better leadership, better advocacy, and better education to improve the needs of deaf community.
His world had changed when he pursued further down that road to learn ASL. He wants to tell you a story of a deaf man raised in hearing society until he discovered American Sign Language.
